Are you studying at HRC next year?
Do you want to enhance your CV and/or your UCAS application?
Do you want to be a part of the board that controls a circa £30 million annual budget?
Do you want to get vital experience in running a business?

Then the Student Governor post might be for you!

The duties of the Governor position involve attending meetings of the Governing Body and one of its Committee’s in order to provide the learner perspective. You basically will help shape the future of the college. It is a big responsibility, and therefore a big, BIG CV boost.

Applications close soon, and we want every student to have the opportunity to apply.

On the Learner Voice page is a Q&A of what the role involves. To apply, send a CV and a cover letter to your campus’s student liaison officer, or to Conrad Sackey (csackey@hrc.ac.uk). (Or both.)

If you want help with your CV and cover letter, contact your student liaison officer, or speak to the careers advisor.

Good luck!
