On Tuesday 5th September (Broxbourne) and Wednesday 6th September (Ware), as a part of the new student’s Induction Week, the Enrichment team are laying on Fresher’s Fairs for our new influx of students (as well as any returnees – all are welcome!).

As ever, we want them to come to college have some fun. There will be fun things for students to do, plus numerous external visitors. [There might be free pizza, too. We still await a firm we-promise-we-won't-pull-out-this-year commitment from the providers, but we're looking to get that.]

Also as ever, this is an important part of the delivery of the Information, Advice and Guidance that Student Services exists for. This is an interactive way for you to learn first-hand about what we offer here – the sports, the clubs, the extra qualifications, the Learner Voice procedure, the Student Councilcareers advicewelfarecounsellinglearning supportvolunteeringcommunity matters, pastoral care and whatever else – and also why we offer it. It is an introduction to us and our services, and we encourage you all to partake, fill out those CVs, develop personal and employability skills, and enjoy the process along the way.

Do please attend. The event will take place between 10am and 2pm, and is in a drop-in style – come when you can, for as long as you like.

Thank you,
Mark, on behalf of Student Services
