Term 2

We hope you all have a great break and enjoy your New Year.

There is lots to look forward to in 2016: Term 2 is packed full of overseas trips, special guests, free food, sessions to help with New Year’s resolutions and exclusive work experience arranged for HRC students.

Here are just some of the things to look forward in term 2:

  • Free hot drink & cookie for all students who arrive by 8.45am in the first week of term (4-8 January)

    • Pick up your vouchers (from the barriers in the mornings), to use at any time over the first 2 weeks

  • Free breakfasts all year, for all students who collect their breakfast before 8.45am

  • New Year, New You: Help with New Year resolutions: free gym inductions, debt awareness, stop smoking, clubbercise fitness classes

Depending on your course you may also be get involved in:

  • HND trip to New York: Broadway classes, tour of Maddison Square Gardens or NBC Studio

  • Workshops with The Apprentice winner Lee McQueen

  • Budapest trip for Catering, Events and Travel students

  • ‘Marines day’ including: climbing, rafting, combat, PT and weapons viewing

  • An exclusive ‘ride-a-long’ with the Metropolitan Police for two  students to be selected

  • Barcelona trip for Football Academy students

  • Beauty therapy students offering treatments to patients at Lister Hospital

  • Cocktail training with Miller & Carter

  • Visits to the Wella World Studio in London

  • Football students working as Spurs Foundation coaches for younger players

  • Computing students showing off their skills with the eBuddy project

  • Inspired 2016 – performing arts variety show at Hertford Theatre on 29th January

  • Foundation Degree Fine Art Practice students showcasing their work and managing and curating their own exhibition at The Courtyard, Hertford

  • And lots, lots more….
