Bra Recycling Banks

We have taken delivery of a couple of bra recycling banks, one at each campus.

These are exactly what they sound like. They are collection points for people to recycle their old, unwanted bras.

How it works is thus. The reusable ones get cleaned and sent to third world countries, where they are otherwise very hard to come by. The ones that aren't reusable are recycled for their textiles and metal, and the money raised from that recycling goes to breast cancer awareness charities.

They are kept at the reception to Inspires Salon (Ware), and in the Child Care department (Broxbourne). Staff in each will take them for you.

If you or anyone you know has any bras that can be donated to this cause, please take them to the banks. Thanks!
