Safeguarding

All students, including apprentices, can report Safeguarding Issues via the link on Moodle, accessed via clicking this button on the home page:

Your message will be passed on to a member of the Safeguarding Team within Student Services, who will respond to you directly to discuss your concerns. You can also report concerns to your Personal Tutor or any member of staff.

If you feel you are in immediate danger, you should report your concerns to the police.

Food Bank

If you have no food and no money or other way of buying or getting food, and you live in the Broxbourne, or Hertford and District areas (including Bishop’s Stortford, Ware, Buntingford and Sawbridgeworth), the HRC Student Welfare Service can help you get a voucher to take to a Food Parcel Centre, entitling you to a free food and drink parcel in an unmarked bag or box to last you for up to three days.

If you need this help at any time, contact:

   - Dee Peters: 01992 411420 dpeters@hrc.ac.uk

Or text "Food parcel" to 07701 286589 or 07795 477520.

The Student Welfare Advisers are based in room B122 (Broxbourne Campus) and room W220 (Ware Campus).
