Level 2 in Hospitality provides a fantastic pathway for students interested in a career in Professional Cookery or Event Management.

For budding chefs, the course would make the perfect choice for students who have already achieved a level 2 in Professional Cookery and now want to learn more about the industry itself.

The course also provides a pathway for learners who have not yet achieved the grade criteria for our level 3 Event Management programme and would like to study a relevant level 2 qualification. Learners can progress to level 3 Event Management providing they achieve

Join our level 3 Event Management programme providing you meet the criteria. You will need to achieve a Merit grade or above, 5 grade 4 GCSE or above including English and maths and have a satisfactory behaviour and attendance record.

This course is a blend of classroom learning in world-class facilities at our Broxbourne campus and challenging work placement opportunities. The course offers you a unique chance to gain unrivalled work experience in a variety of roles and areas in the hospitality industry.

You will also build skills which are required in the hospitality industry, including research and analytical skills, creative thinking, problem-solving and team building. While doing this, we will introduce you to different aspects of the industry to help you understand what you're most interested in. This will cover hospitality, food safety, healthy lifestyles, planning an event and more

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
You will be assessed through a mix of methods, including written reports and essays, exams, work-based projects, PowerPoint presentations and reflective journals.
