The OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Subsidiary Diploma and OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma in health and social care are designed as a foundation for careers in Health and Social Care settings e.g. nursing, midwifery, social work, medicine, professionals allied to health (e.g. counselling, paramedic, radiotherapy etc.) and are therefore seen as a good preparation for Higher Education. The NHS is one of the biggest employers in England and most of our learners do progress onto careers within this sector.
